Cantilever Racks

Cantilever racks for long, bulky and irregular loads

Arm-and-column racking with no front uprights in the way — built for pipe, timber, sheet metal and other long stock.

Overview

Details

Cantilever racking replaces front uprights with load-bearing arms projecting from a single column line, so there’s nothing in front of the load — the format built for stock that’s long, bulky or awkward to shape for standard shelving: pipe, timber, extrusions, sheet metal and similar.

Arm length, spacing and load rating are set to your longest and heaviest item, with single or double-sided columns depending on whether the run sits against a wall or in open floor, and arms can be added or repositioned as stock profiles change.

Highlights
  • No front uprights — full-width, unobstructed loading
  • Arm length and spacing set to your longest item
  • Single-sided (wall) or double-sided (island) columns
  • Load ratings per arm, engineered to your heaviest item
  • Arms reposition on the column for changing stock profiles
  • Base and brace options for outdoor or high-wind installations

FAQ

Questions we get asked before every order

Single-sided (one arm direction) suits wall runs or aisles on one side only; double-sided (arms both directions) suits open-floor island runs and gives more capacity per column line.

From your heaviest individual item, not an average — each arm is engineered to carry that load with the correct safety margin.

Yes, arm spacing adjusts on the column without cutting or welding, so the rack adapts as stock length or profile changes.

Yes, with a braced base and galvanised finish for outdoor and high-wind sites — tell us the location and we’ll specify accordingly.
